Join us in our 14th season and gain valuable instruction from the areas most renowned coach, Moe Tarrant, Head Varsity Coach at the Greenwich Academy. Coach Tarrant has been teaching and coaching for more than 25 years and has attained the Masters Level in coaching from USA Hockey. At Cutting Edge Hockey Camps we offer programs designed for all level of players. Each camp incorporates fundamental skills to help players develop both individually and as team players. We focus on stick handling and shooting, with an emphasis on explosive skating and edgework. Our camps are challenging at each specific level and our method of teaching incorporates our love for the game and our desire to pass that passion for this great sport on to your daughter.

Cutting Edge Classic Camp
Session I • Ages 13 and under
August 6-10, 2012
Days: M-F*
Location: Chelsea Piers of Connecticut Rinks, Stamford, CT
Times: 4:30 pm – 7:00 pm
*Please note: Friday time is 4:00-6:00 pm
Camp Description:
This camp is designed to improve girl’s skating, stick-handling, shooting, passing, and positional play. We will focus on skating for the first hour of camp each day, highlighting areas where the players must improve. Skating is a skill that no matter who you are can always be improved. Girls grow and develop at different ages, accordingly her skating skills will need to adjust to her maturity. Cutting Edge Classic Camp will then move into more game-like scenarios where the players will continue to be pushed. We have 25 years of experience in bringing girls to the
next level!

Cutting Edge's Concentrated Camp
Session II • Ages 13-17 year olds
August 13-17, 2012

Times: 4:30 pm – 7:00 pm
Camp Description:
Coach Moe's favorite week –– CEH The next level! Skills, skills more skills! In one week we will make your daughter a better player. This one week intense instruction camp is designed for the players to recognize areas where they want to improve the most and focus on that. With a limited number of campers, each girl will have more personalized and focused coaching to give constructive feedback.

Cutting Edge Pre-Season Conditioning Camp
Session V • Ages 8-18 year olds
August 27-30, 2012
Days: M-Th
Location: Chelsea Piers of Connecticut Rinks, Stamford, CT
Times: 4:30 pm - 7:00 pm
Camp Description:
Get a head start! We've designed this camp to maximize your conditioning and skills prior to the beginning of the school year. Come away from this camp with a new and improved skill set that you can carry into the 2012-'13 hockey season. Continue to improve your edges, shooting, passing, stick-handling and ice awareness. Great conditioning for your fall sport tryout!

Cutting Edge Pre-Prep Showcase Camp
Session III • Ages 12 and up
August 20-23, 2012
Days: M-Th
Location: Danbury Ice Arena, Danbury, CT
Times: 12:00 pm - 3:00 pm
Camp Description:
This camp is meant for players who are serious about playing competitive hockey at the prep/high school level.
Prep school coaches along with our Cutting Edge coaches will come and run the ice sessions so players will learn the coaching philosophies of each prep school, while coaches will get to know you. With a limited number of players for this week, the sign-ups are on a first-come, first-serve basis. Register soon to avoid being placed on our waiting list. This camp IS NOT limited to girls who plan on attending prep school. High school and club players are also encouraged to register. Please register early!

Cutting Edge Pre-College Showcase Camp
Session IV • Ages 15-20
August 20-23, 2012
Days: M-Th
Location: Danbury Ice Arena, Danbury, CT
Times: 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm
Camp Description:
This camp is meant for players who are serious about playing competitive hockey at the college level. College coaches will come and run the ice sessions so players will learn the coaching philosophies of that particular coach. The college coaches in turn will get to meet you and evaluate the up and coming players. With a limited number of players for this week, the sign-ups are on a first-come, first-serve basis. Register soon to avoid being placed on our waiting list. Last year, for the 12th year in a row, we had a waiting list. This camp is one of the largest pre-college camps in New England. In the past twelve years, all Ivy League schools and 70% of all New England colleges have attended. Coaches and players alike consider this camp to be one of the most successful pre-college camps offered. Please register early!
